Work experience student

We are pleased to have welcomed Mark, our work experience student from Ferndown Upper School.

During his week at cube_design, he was introduced to everyone which gave him an insight to the diversity of roles within cube_design.
He was set the task of designing an artist's retreat comprising of a work area, kitchenette, storage and external seating area. Mark's design took inspiration from a design in Mumbai. His scheme incorporated sustainable elements such as solar panels, wind turbines and water recycling.

When asked if the locals would like his scheme Mark responded by saying...."probably!"

We were impressed at the speed in which Mark produced his concepts and how he was able to work independently. He was able to gain experience using an Apple Mac and learnt a number of new Adobe software skills - so a successful week all in all.
