The Captain’s Club Hotel is a 4 star hotel set on the banks of the River Stour in Christchurch, Dorset.
Completed in November 2006, the hotel offers 16 suites and 12 luxury apartments spread over 2 floors. On the ground floor is a health spa, bar, restaurant and function rooms that spill out onto the south facing terrace and make further use of the river frontage.
cube_design acted as the Contractor’s Architect and successfully undertook extensive planning negotiations for the Client. This ensured a cost-effective solution that remained sensitive to the historic setting, whilst delivering a modern and contemporary nautical design.
cube_design also prepared Contractor’s Proposals and full construction documentation as Lead Consultant acting directly for the Main Contractor.
